The principals of Bay Hills Capital have proven track records as fund investors, private equity investors, and secondary investors. In addition, the principals have worked closely with a number of institutional investors to build successful private equity investment programs. The combination of these skills, as well as extensive relationships throughout the industry, provides the firm a unique advantage in identifying, evaluating and gaining access to superior fund managers.
Mr. Mansbridge is the Managing Partner and founder of Bay Hills Capital. He is responsible for managing fund investment activity and is a member of the Investment Committee. Lance has over 12 years of experience in private equity including fund investing, LP advisory and secondary acquisitions.
Prior to founding Bay Hills Capital, Lance was a Vice President and Senior Private Equity Consultant with Strategic Investment Solutions, Inc. (“SIS”) where he had primary private equity responsibility for numerous clients including corporate and public pension plans, university endowments, trusts and high net worth families. While at SIS, Lance advised, sourced, diligenced and monitored over 150 different private equity partnerships on behalf of clients and oversaw recommendations to clients representing over $1.4 billion in new commitments. Prior to SIS, Mr. Mansbridge was a senior professional with Deloitte & Touche and Price Waterhouse.
Lance received a Bachelor of Science from San Francisco State University.
Mr. Chiang is a Partner of Bay Hills Capital. He is responsible for executing fund investments, direct investments and secondary transactions and is a member of the Investment Committee. Albert has 11 years of experience in private equity including growth equity investments and leveraged buyout transactions.
Prior to joining Bay Hills Capital, Albert was a Principal at FTVentures where he was responsible for expansion stage equity investments. Prior to FTVentures, Albert was a Vice President at Catterton Partners where he focused on growth equity and buyout investments. He has executed and managed direct investments and served as a Director on numerous boards. Previously, Albert was an Associate in the investment banking group of Montgomery Securities where he advised emerging growth companies on public equity financings, debt financings, mergers and acquisitions.
Albert received a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
Mr. Smith is a Partner of Bay Hills Capital. He is responsible for executing fund investments and secondary transactions and is a member of the Investment Committee.
Prior to joining Bay Hills Capital, David was the Director of Investment Management at Syracuse University where he had investment management oversight for a $1.3 billion endowment including equities, hedge funds and over $500 million in private equity commitments. Additionally, David was responsible for performing due diligence on managers, sourcing private equity investments, portfolio analytics and back office operations. David served on the Advisory Committee of several private equity firms. Prior to Syracuse University, David was a Securities Trader for the MONY Group. In addition to his trading responsibilities, he served as the General Securities, Options, and Municipal Bond Principal for the firm.
David received a Masters in Business Administration from Syracuse University Business School and a Bachelor of Science from Western Illinois University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Mr. Godfrey is a Partner of Bay Hills Capital. He is responsible for business development and executing fund investments and is a member of the Investment Committee. Philip has over 13 years of experience in private equity.
Prior to joining Bay Hills Capital, Philip was President of Everest Capital, a hedge fund group where he was responsible for the development and management of the firm's business. Prior to Everest Capital, Philip was Principal and Director of Pathway Capital Management where he advised institutional investors on the development of their private equity programs and structured over $12 billion in capital commitments across a broad range of private equity strategies. He previously held senior portfolio management and client service roles at The Blackstone Group and Delaware Investment Advisers.
Philip received a Masters in Business Administration from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Hawaii.
Mr. Shah is a Senior Associate at Bay Hills Capital. He is responsible for executing fund investments, direct investments and secondary transactions.
Prior to joining Bay Hills Capital, Vishal was an Investment Analyst at Fort Washington Capital Partners, a private equity fund-of-funds manager with approximately $2 billion of assets under management. While at Fort Washington, Vishal performed due diligence and analysis on private equity fund managers across various strategies including buyout, mezzanine and venture capital. In addition, he was also part of the co-investment team, and performed due diligence and analysis on early stage to more mature companies across a variety of industries including technology, healthcare, and consumer products.
Vishal received a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Master of Arts in Economics from Virginia Tech, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the College of William & Mary.
Mr. Tran is an Analyst at Bay Hills Capital. He is responsible for executing fund investments, direct investments and secondary transactions.
Prior to joining Bay Hills Capital, William was an Investment Analyst at Pathway Capital Management, a private equity fund-of-funds manager with more than $23 billion of assets under management. While at Pathway, William performed due diligence and analysis on private equity fund managers and investment opportunities in various strategies including venture capital, distressed debt, and buyout. Additionally, William was responsible for investment monitoring and client reporting.
William received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics, from the University of California, Irvine, where he graduated summa cum laude.
