Our strategy is to stay tightly focused thereby taking concentrated positions in outstanding fund managers. Focus

Bay Hills Capital focuses exclusively on the small to lower middle market buyout segment of private equity. This focus enables the firm to more effectively identify opportunities, assess prospective investments and build closer relationships with fund managers. In most cases, transactions in this segment involve companies with enterprise values of $20 million to $250 million. Accordingly, we target fund sizes typically ranging from $100 million to $1 billion, depending upon investment scope and strategy.

Historically, the small buyout market has provided some of the highest and most consistent long-term returns within private equity. Bay Hills Capital believes that experienced fund managers in this segment will continue to outperform private equity indices because of their sector expertise and focus and the relative inefficiencies in the market. In addition, this segment has been much less dependent on credit markets and often provides experienced managers greater opportunity to create value with operational improvements. We believe the advantages of the small buyout market are even more relevant and compelling in the current private equity investment environment.
